Design
For this assignment, we were tasked with creating a video that markets and comprehensively communicates a use case of an existing health-related product. I chose a mental healthcare application called Caraway. The use case that I chose to display is a stressed out student who turns to the platform for digital therapy when getting overwhelmed while studying for an exam. I chose this space because when I was a first year engineering student and I was really struggling with exam stress I wish I had known about platforms like Caraway. I chose to use muted colors (greys, browns, ect.) for the text and calm and uplifting background music. I chose to include various statistics about mental health in college students to prime the importance of this application. Furthermore, I included a snippet of the virtual therapy chatbot in order to introduce potential users to the UI of the interface.

Analysis
I got feedback from three peers on my final video. These were my evaluation criteria:
Desirability: Based on this video, do you see yourself using this product when stressed about school work?
Impact: How do you think this product would influence your behavior after use? Would it have a positive effect or not?
User 1
Desirability: I don’t really see myself using this product. I already have a therapist and I have used these types of apps before and they don’t really help me. I prefer personalized care.
Impact: If I was using this app for whatever reason, I think it would have a positive impact on my stress. Its always good to have an outlet regardless of what that is.
User 2
Desirability: I currently use an app called BetterHelp, from what I can see its pretty similar. I really like it! I would use something like this if I didn’t already have better help.
Impact: This would definitely have a positive impact on my stress, when your in that irrational stress spiral a voice of reason is always nice.
User 3
Desirability: I don’t see myself using an application like this. I have gotten pretty good at handling my mental health and stress through journaling and exercise.
Impact: If I was using the application, which I don’t think I would do, I think this app would help ease my stress in ways.
